Can I get the blue prints to how you made this? I'm currently working on a Chell cosplay and this is the first one I've seen that even deserves a tutorial lol. most of them are cardboard, paper towel tubes, and popsicle sticks XD

Wow! This is amazing! I was thinking about a portal halloween costume. I can't decide... GLaDOS or Chell?

Regardless... the gun is still amazing even if you worked around a few thing! I was gonna papier mache the dang thing! hahaha idk it's supposed to be smooth and sleek it probably wouldn't work...

How much did the gun cost you to build?

This is incredible! I've been looking through your entire portal photoshoot pictures and I'm flabbergasted at your amazing attention to detail and ability to post-process shots to look like they were taking completely from inside the game. I am so impressed! Please let me know if you post up any tutorials on how you did your portal gun :D

:+fav:'d!

Thanks so much! (:
Haha the post-processing is probably my favorite part. It's so relaxing compared to everything else.

For the gun, I actually followed Volpin's tutorial fairly closely. [link]
I just had to do a few work-arounds because I didn't have access to all the materials and machines he used.

I love Harrison's work :D haha I realised pretty soon after that you'd followed the tut on volpinprops - I'm trying to find an easier method too because I don't have anywhere near the amount of resources he does.. which bits specifically did you work around? I wish there were more tutorials out there for those who still want an accurate and not crappy prop but don't have a giant workshop in their backyard!

I pretty much followed Volpin's tutorial: [link]
I didn't have access to all the materials and machines he used, so I sometimes had to improvise a little (resulting in a much less perfect gun than his...)
